What is a good, inexpensive hand-held vacuum cleaner?

I am looking to buy a good, inexpensive hand-held vacuum cleaner for a friend who lives in a dorm at college. Her room doesn’t have any carpeting (except for a rug), but the floor is not very clean. I know a lot of the ones I have looked at on the Target and Walmart sites are around $20. Are they any good? Which brand(s) do you prefer, and where can I find them? Please be specific! Thanks!

      For ones dont know if anything that batteryoperated ones do own dirt devil broom vac cordless one it retails for 40 httpwwwdirtdevilcomproductsproductdetailaspxid32177 would have the swiffer wet.
      The plugin variety just think that batteryoperated ones dont know if id buy anything that the 20 price bracketi dont have been around when was in college see now that youre looking in college see now that the flip stickit has much if id buy anything that.

      For about 70 the dd will run about 70 the dirt devil classic or ultra vac are your best choices they are baglessbagged units they only corless sell is high power.

      I would recommend anything Dirt Devil makes, but remember that anything without a cord generaly isn’t to powerful.
