I had one a long time ago and loved it. I would clean it by dumping it behind the garage, then bringing it in to rinse it. In addition to that I would highly recommend the ionic breeze air purifier. The model that has the UV lamp in it. I have one on each floor and now I don’t get sick anywhere near as often as I used to. If you don’t get the vacuum with water then get a bagless with a hepa filter.

They work great….just a little messy to clean.
