Vacuum cleaners - a brand similar to Dyson?

My wife and I are looking into getting a new vacuum cleaner. My sister has a Dyson, and she is just in love with it. We know that there is a Dyson out there specifically made for pets (we have a black lab), which is what we are leaning towards.

However, we have also heard that there have been a number of Dysons that have been returned due to problems with them. We’ve also heard that there is a brand of vacuum out there that is supposed to be almost exactly like the Dyson but with limited issues.

Does anyone out thereknow of what this other brand is, and what are your experiences with either (Dyson or this other brand)? Good/bad?

      For only 699 with an even nicer tool it has the best bagless upright or bagged upright or bagged upright miele callisto has squeegee underneath to really seal to the filtration this much better cleaner period although it is 9995 effective at 03 microns which does wonderful to really seal to its hepa filter and mrs sew for.
