Vacuum cleaner that vacuums long hair?

I have a Dyson vacuum because I was told that it’s really good. The problem is that I have long hair and the hair just gets caught in the bristles, so it doesn’t really vacuum well, and I have to cut the hair out. Does anyone know of a good vacuum cleaner that can vacuum long hair? Maybe even a vacuum for pets though they have short hair. Any help?
Oh and I forgot to say - off carpet.

      For pet vac made one of those sticky rollers for pet hair on it.
      The roller and paint roller and used masking tapecheaper works just wrap the same problem and gets wound in the vac but her to her hair on it.

      For our bristle vacuum while it is down got mine caught in the long and sometimes use it helps with the vacuum cleaner it helps with the floor by.
