Do you use the vacuum cleaner to get your newborn to sleep?

My 7 week old baby sometimes gets over tired and I can’t get her to sleep - she just cries no matter what I do.

Except when I run the vacuum cleaner. After I run it for a few minutes she’s out like a light!

Anyone else do this?!

      Glad it worked for you! I tried it with my son and it made him yell longer and louder. haha He would always get really tired but would not go to sleep so we started giving him a nice long bath and then giving him some milk and he was out like a light.
      But hey if it works good luck.

      I did it with my oldest daughter too and it worked wonders with her! Sometimes you gotta do whatever you can and if it works then so be it..huh!!!

      No, but I’ve heard of people doing that. Have you tried a sound machine? They make one especialy for babies with a light show feature, I got it at Bed Bath & Beyond for $19.99. I can’t find a link for it online, but there are all sorts of sound machines for babies.
