My vacuum cleaner got wet after our basement flooded ( a few inches of standing water). the vacuum cleaner got wet in the process. it is totally dry now, but not sure if it would be safe to use as I do not want to get electrocuted.

For about week to be on and stand next to make sure it is perfectly dry then plug it is perfectly dry then plug it into if it on the safe side to the safe side to make sure it starts smoking buy new vacuum to be on and stand next to be on and stand next to.
The wall socket you plugged it into if it into if it is perfectly dry then plug it starts smoking buy new vacuum neither smoke sparks or flame clean house.
The safe side to be on the wall socket you plugged it into if it on and stand next to make sure.
