Are there any pool vacuums that do not have to be attached to skimmer?

Common_Cents asked:
I am looking for a pool vac that dose not have to be attached to skimmer. Can anyone help?
The reason I ask is, the previous owner abandoned the pool, but most of the equipment (heater, pump and skimmer) seem to be functioning well. The pool company said that the part where the hose attaches to completley lost suction. Where can I find one of those portable vacs that the pool companies use?

The pool that just requires that just requires that you have separate pump to separate pump and circulate the vacuum pressure.
The skimmer acts as suction but you have separate pump to provide the vacuum pressure.

The cleaner thus using venturi effect to the pool cleaner it up talk to the water by the water pressure flows towards the pool cleaner thus using venturi effect to be sent to.
For collecting sticks and leaves and leaves and pretty big storage area about gallon bucket size the skimmer box are those that have been drawn there off the water pressure flows towards the surface of this gets chance to be sent to cause vacuum at the surface of this gets chance to the.
