until you find the vacuum that is perfect for your needs.

There are several vacuum machines on the market today, and you’ll have no problems finding one that will complete your tasks with ease and durability.

Matt Peters asked:

With all the different brands of vacuum cleaners available in the market today, it can be quite difficult to choose just the one that will suit your needs. But the choice doesn’t have to be that difficult if you get to know some of the top brands in the market. Here is a list of some of them that will help you choose the best rated vacuum cleaner.

Dyson DC14 All-floor

Dyson is quickly becoming on of the top selling brands not only in the UK but also in the United States. To that effect, the DC14 is probably one of their products that are most in demand at the moment. The all-floor model boasts of a bagless system that never loses suction, a 5-year warranty, and a guarantee that will satisfy those who have allergic reactions to the smallest of dust particles. Its lifetime HEPA filter and bagless feature are two of the reasons why this model is popular; neither of the two features has to be replaced.

Bissell 6900 DigiPro Canister

When it comers to handling all the details in household cleaning, it seems that Bissell may have it down pat. Their best rated vacuum cleaner comes in the form of a canister vacuum that is designed for both carpets and bare floors. Canister vacuums are known to be very useful in handling cleaning duties even on stairwells because of their size and portability. This digital offering from Bissell has variable power controls for easy adjustment that includes an automatic feature that makes use of its very own digital detection system. Included tools are a dusting brush, upholstery tool and a crevice attachment.

Bosch BSA2222UC Compact Canister

This ultra compact vacuum from Bosch is almost too good to be true. Lightweight and durable, it can also be used on hard floors and has a powerful filtration system that makes sure that the air that is pushed back into the room is clean and dust free. Since it is not very heavy, one doesn’t have to worry about leaving markings on wooden floors. This is made doubly sure with its rubber wheels and special hard floor nozzle that has soft bristles.

Eureka 4870HZ Boss SmartVac

One of the best rated vacuum cleaner products of all time, this Eureka upright vacuum is known for its sealed HEPA system, it’s Power Paw Turbo for vertical cleaning of stairs and upholstery, and its unique suction control feature that allows users to direct how much suction is needed for cleaning floors and carpets. A 12 Amp powerhouse of a vacuum, this may seem like a large vacuum but it’s definitely one that’s in charge.

How Can a HEPA Vacuum Cleaner Benefit Your Home?

Sunday, April 26th, 2009
Randy Letter asked:

The HEPA vacuum cleaner has a high efficiency particle filter that very effectively cleans the air that flows through the vacuum cleaner itself. The HEPA vacuum cleaner has several advantages but you must first know about HEPA before you totally comprehend what it represents. The HEPA vacuum cleaner offers many benefits for your home or business.

HEPA Vacuum Cleaner

The HEPA filter is actually what makes the vacuum cleaner really work effectively. The HEPA filter is guaranteed to eliminate 99.97% of small particles from a particular area. The HEPA filter contains a mat that makes this possible. The mat contains randomly arrayed fibers that prevent the small and large particles from reentering the atmosphere. The HEPA vacuum cleaner would not work properly if it did not contain the HEPA filter. The larger granules are captured on the outside and never allowed to enter the filter at all. There are basically three different techniques that capture the smaller granules and these are described below.

Interception is the first technique that is used to capture the smaller granules. The small granules are rotating around the HEPA filter fibers and finally get stuck to the fibers and forever removed from the atmosphere. This is one way that the vacuum cleaner will work effectively.

Impaction is the second technique that is used to capture the larger granules that actually work their way around the upper layers of the HEPA filter. The larger particles cannot escape the fibers entirely and get imbedded in the fibers of the HEPA filter. With a tight HEPA filter that offers a stronger airflow this technique is more effective and allows the HEPA vacuum cleaner to perform as what is stated by the manufacturer.

Diffusion is the third technique that is used to capture small and large granules from reentering the atmosphere. Diffusion is a very complex technique that most individuals can not comprehend. Diffusion does not capture the particles and prevent them from reentering the atmosphere but increases the reliability of the interception and impaction techniques. This technique relies on the small and large granules colliding together along with the air molecules and altering the granules trajectory. This in turn allows the other two techniques to occur. This technique allows the HEPA vacuum cleaner to work effectively and efficiently.

Interception, impaction, and is how the HEPA filter is effective and allows you to use your HEPA vacuum cleaner and keep the atmosphere in your home or business cleaner than using a regular vacuum cleaner. The HEPA vacuum cleaner is available in your local department stores, specialty store, or on the World Wide Web for your convenience. It is better to budget a little extra money into cleaning your house with the very effective vacuum cleaner. If you decide to change out your old vacuum cleaner with a vacuum cleaner because it does not work properly it will not take you vey long before you see the comparisons of the two vacuum cleaners.

Can a Vacuum Cleaner Actually Help With Allergy Season?

Sunday, April 26th, 2009
Abigail Franks asked:

It’s no secret that Springtime is when many of the dormant allergies raise their ugly head and make us miserable. Of course, it’s not really the season of spring that causes the allergies, but the new growth plant life. While brilliant grandeur of new green leaves on trees and the beauty of fresh flowers, cannot be disputed, they also bring an explosion of pollen.

Pollen and other allergens are the reasons why spring is so difficult for many who suffer with allergies. Spring also can aggravate and bring on many allergic symptoms by the amount of dust and dirt in the air caused by the breeze. Wet and snowy winters keep the level of dust and dirt in the air down. That gentle springtime breeze however can bring misery to many with allergies

Chances are you live in a home that was built in the last 50 years. The focus on energy efficiency in newer homes has caused other challenges especially for those who suffer from asthma or allergies. One of the biggest problems is that while the homes are more energy-efficient, they are also tighter and can trap pollutants and allergens inside your home. This in turn can make indoor air actually more likely to trigger hay fever or an allergic reaction.

To limit this exposure, every effort should be made to remove the pollen dust and other allergens from the air. A high-quality vacuum cleaner has the capability of capturing these allergy causing particles using high efficiency particulate air filtration systems. These HEPA filters are designed to remove 99.97% of the dust, pollen, mold, bacteria and any airborne particles down to .3 micrometers.

Selecting a vacuum cleaner is a personal choice and should not be based on what others thing is best. Only you can decide what features and functions are important to you and your family. When considering a new vacuum, look for those with HEPA filtration to help limit allergy triggers in your home. For more information on how to select the right vacuum cleaner for you, visit the link below.

By regularly using a vacuum cleaner featuring HEPA filtration, it’s possible to collect many of the allergy triggers the land in your home from the outdoors. While the best idea is to simply keep doors and windows closed, many of us prefer the fresh air even if it increases the number of allergens in our home.

Vacuuming can not only clean your home but also make it more habitable for those who suffer with allergies. Add to this an air purifier to help remove particulate matter in your home and you will soon have much cleaner air.

While a vacuum cleaner is not the complete solution to keeping your home allergy trigger free, it can be an important part of your on going battle with pollen, bacteria and airborne dust.

Vacuum Cleaner Comparison: Find The Right Vacuum For Your Cleaning Situation Quickly And Easily

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009
Mark Clifton asked:

When making a vacuum cleaner comparison, it is first important to discover which type of vacuum cleaner you need for you home. Vacuum cleaners come in many different varieties and comparisons can only be made between those that are alike. You cannot compare the power of a canister vacuum cleaner and a stick vacuum cleaner, but different people may have different needs for both of these instruments.

Two of the most common vacuum cleaner types are canister vacuum cleaners and upright vacuum cleaners. Canister vacuums have a large canister on wheels that is attached to an instrument you use to run along the carpeting to vacuum. Canister vacuum cleaners also have attachments that can be used to clean wood floors, upholstery and draperies. Canister vacuum cleaners are usually very powerful and offer exceptional vacuuming abilities. Some canister vacuums come with bags and some have a container that can easily be removed to dispose of collected debris and dirt removed from carpeting. Canister bags come in several different varieties and even include hypo-allergenic bags. If anyone in your family has allergies, a high powered vacuum cleaner is recommended to remove dust mites from carpeting as well as from furniture.

Upright vacuum cleaners are easy to use. You can get your carpet cleaned in record time by using an upright vacuum cleaner that stores away easily. Some upright vacuum cleaners even fold up, to make storage even more convenient. Upright vacuum cleaners are powerful, offer deep cleaning and have a variety of attachments to clean in between nooks and crannies as well as to clean upholstery and draperies. Some upright vacuum cleaners even have an attachment that can be used to clean wooden floors. Upright vacuum cleaners are convenient because you can generally push them around with ease and not have the burden of dragging a canister along with you. One trick in using an upright vacuum cleaner is to attach an extension cord to the vacuum cord to make it unnecessary to have to move the cord when you vacuum different rooms.

For floor cleaning or quick jobs, you may choose a stick vacuum cleaner. Sometimes, these are called ‘electric brooms’ as they do the same job as a broom but much quicker. Stick vacuum cleaners are an ideal way to clean kitchen and bathroom floors. What is really nice about them is that they don’t have bristles that will scratch surfaces, so they are ideal to use on wooden floors. You can get your floors cleaned very quickly by using a stick vacuum cleaner. In addition, these vacuum cleaners are great when you have a dry spill or spot that just needs a quick touch-up. Many people have a stick vacuum cleaner in addition to their regular vacuum cleaner.

In order to make a proper vacuum cleaner comparison, you need to compare two machines that offer the same power, convenience and are equal in size. To make a good comparison, you must first decide which vacuum cleaner will work for you and then seek out different brands. Most vacuum cleaner companies make a variety of vacuum cleaners. Your specific needs will determine which type of vacuum cleaner you need and that you wish to make comparisons.

My Dyson Vacuum Cleaner DC17 Allergy model pulls out a lot of carpet fiber. Will it ruin my carpet eventually?

Monday, April 20th, 2009
jr asked:

I bought a Dyson DC17 vacuum cleaner (Allergy model) and each time I use it on my wall to wall carpet, it pulls out a lot of carpet fiber. There is no height adjustment feature and I am afraid it will eat up my carpet eventually. I have a nice expensive carpet and I am afraid this vac cleaner will ruin it.
Any advise?

One of the basic things is to check your home surface that required proper cleaning before buying a suitable Vacuum cleaner. What is the best cheap and small vacuum cleaner?

Thursday, April 9th, 2009
Natalia O asked:

My place only has one carpeted room, so it actually has very little to vaccum. I currently own a hand-me-down vacuum cleaner, but it’s bulky so I end up not using because of convenience. Is there a cheap vacuum cleaner out there that could work for me, one that might even be good for hardwood floors?
